The Institute offers Training and Consultancy services to industrial and business units through its faculty in the areas of Production, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, General Management, and Information Technology.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell was being promoted in PIMRG in the year 2006. The mission was to develop an institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students. All India Council For Technical Education has approved the cell for the year 2011-12and 2012-13 and released a grant of Rs 4 lakh for the first year.
