Dr. Rao is an alumnus of VSS college, Burla and SCB medical college, Cuttack, Orissa. He has received his MD in Respiratory Medicine from prestigious Sambalpur University. Later, he went to the USA to become part of FCCP(Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians). He is also a member of the prestigious, Fellow of National College of Chest Physicians, India, Indian Medical Association and many more established associations.
